Probably a conspiracy, but here's a thought (hold on to your desk now): what if Russia invaded Ukraine for this in the first place, as in a commission for the USA, so the USA could avoid a lot of costs and damages, like they had in Aghanistan, Iraq et al? Russia as a mercenary for the USA. I know it's a crazy thought, but knowing the USA, it's not as far fetched as it seems.

It’s just a matter of time that they cut Ukraine off from #Starlink, which is fully paid by U.S. Congress-approved budget, over 40,000 Ukrainian users and non-Ukrainian backers, including private individuals, regardless of whether #Ukraine signs any bonded rare earth contract etc.

That is why it’s even more important that #Europe is creating its own Starlink alternative called #IRIS. Better late than never.
