I think it's time for Linux Mint to base their main distro upon Debian (may be the testing branch) instead of Ubuntu and have a backup distro based on something like NixOS or GNU Guix.

Ubuntu without the GNU utils is no more a GNU+Linux distro.

Do you know if it's possible to have something like #solid_project at the #operating_system level ? And how ?

I mean without the need of #internet or #server !
