@the1dlcguy When the Postmedia - Sun merger deal was proposed a decade ago, I mistakenly assumed that the Canada Competition Bureau would be looking at and adjudicating the competition of editorial diversity and independence between the two news chains, but that was not their concern. The Competition Bureau's focus was instead on commercial aspects like whether the advertisers would still get a fair shake under the merger.
Astounding I know.
