Thanks to everyone who listened to our talk or visited our table at GodotCon in Boston! We had a great time chatting with so many wonderful folks. You all are an inspiration, and we’re energized by your reception of our mission and tools.

#GodotEngine I was able to use LameLynx's GetImage plugin to make a small Godot demo that opens the camera on my Android phone.
However, it literally opens the Camera app as a separate application!
I would like to embed what the camera sees as if it was inside my Godot app (the simplest AR!). I dont need head tracking. No hand tracking. I dont want to take a picture or record video. I just ONLY want the feed from the device's camera.
Seems impossible so far (to me)...

Xogot, which is basically Godot on iPad optimized for the iPad user experience, is now available. It does a VERY good job of bringing the Godot experience to iPad.
Will there be a #GodotCon in Europe this year? I understood there's the Boston one and there's plans to make another in Europe, but some people told me otherwise snes there will only be the American one. Does anyone know?

The stroke system with custom mipmaps and edge detection looks really nice on the balcony!
But transparency is not possible with them, so I guess I will need to switch to a distance field with alpha scissors.
A more polished conversation system, a bit of banter with villagers, and a new relaxed town theme!
