Destiny 2 is currently being downloaded (3% complete). The top of the interface is devoted to menus (various search filters, settings, game counters, etc.). 📚️ Rare is a libre, multi-platform interface for the Epic Games Store, enabling you to install, uninstall and launch your games - via Legendary (a command-line tool adding a layer of compatibility with this store). It enables authentication on the store, installation on hard disk or in the cloud, updating and setting up Wine and games, searching for information on ProtonDB, checking games and repairing them if necessary. Its interface provides an immediate overview of your game library (installed/uninstalled games, installation progress), plus filters to make searching easier. An excellent tool!

Dann bin ich aber darauf gestoßen, dass Wine immens weiter entwickelt wurde und dass das geht und ich habe es auf meinem Debian Bookworm ausprobiert, da habe ich eine GeForce RTX 3060 mit Hersteller Treibern (DKMS) drin und da ich bei #GOG meine Spiele kaufe, habe ich den #Heroic #Gamelauncher installiert und einen Test mit S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Tschernobyl gemacht und #wow das hat out of the box funktioniert.

🕶️ A view of its UI with an example of 8 games out of the hundreds available (on the right-hand side of the UI can be seen the scroll bar, whose very small cursor size gives an idea of the number of games available). At the top of the UI, 3 tabs: "Games" (selected), "Downloads" (shows downloads in progress and games already installed), "Devices" (shows recognized VR peripherals). 📚️ QRookie is a libre interface for downloading and installing games from the ROOKIE (aka Rookie Sideloader) public mirror - offering access to a vast catalog of games (updated regularly) for Meta Quest VR headsets without the constraints of the official Meta store. Beware of the legality of the operation, some games seem commercial and there's no indication whether the games are limited or full versions (not having a VR headset, I couldn't check, nevertheless the videos on YT seem to indicate pirated games). ⚠️ I wouldn't recommend using it until there's a clear status on the licensing of the games and whether they're demos or pirated games.
