Both Hubbard and Crowley believed It was necessary to do immoral things (sex magick) in order to obtain power.

Hubbard performed sadistic rituals on women just like Crowley.

What the trance cult calls "transgression" is the same thing as the perversions that Aleister Crowley recommended for followers to do in order to "overthrow" Xianity.
