Today on Kelvin Way in Glasgow. Luckily, this is the only one of the many large, mature trees which line it that was lost to Storm Eowyn.
Shadows of a Lost Giant
The tree stood tall for many years, but last month it was cut down. I felt sad seeing the empty space, but its brittle branches showed it was time. Though it’s gone, I’ll always remember its beauty in spring.
