🏆 Poster Prize at the Einstein Telescope Annual Meeting 🏆

Congratulations to our colleague Graziano Pascale, a PhD student in the “Lasers and Squeezed Light” group at @mpi_grav in Hannover and at @unihannover.

Last week, Graziano won one of the poster prizes at the Einstein Telescope Annual Meeting in Warsaw.

He presented his research on a new method for stabilizing the power of laser beams to meet the stringent requirements of the next generation of ground-based detectors, such as the Einstein Telescope or Cosmic Explorer.

New profile picture: The Einstein Telescope is a planned European third-generation gravitational-wave detector. It will be about 10 times more sensitive than today's instruments.

The @mpi_grav has long played a leading role in gravitational-wave research and is a co-initiator of the Einstein Telescope.
