I watched The Creator. Hats off to Gareth Edwards‘ who demonstrates that VFX-heavy cinema doesn‘t have to be all close-ups and long focal lengths, those dreadful sacrificial offerings for the green screen, and effects and on location shooting can live in perfect harmony. Let’s pray that some producer recognizes its worth. On another note, I don’t see any proper reason why he and Greig Fraser shot the film in 2.76:1.
