Ob ich damit eine Chance beim #Popmusik -Preis in #Düsseldorf habe?
Sie klagen dass #Pop nicht mehr die Bedeutung hätte. Ich denke, es hat sich nur weiter #Demokratisierung und ins Alltägliche ausgedehnt, damit auch sogesehn profanisiert.
Für uns war ja der Plattenspieler quasi der Hausaltar und von den Bands kannten wir jedes mitglied namentlich, das mal eine Rassel schütteln durfte.

People in eastern North America: CHECK EMPTY SNAIL SHELLS FOR BEES! An iNaturalist user in Ohio just found an eastern snail-shell mason bee (Osmia conjuncta), and I am soooo envious. Draparnaud's glass snail (Oxychilus draparnaudi) was originally native only to western and southwestern Europe, as far south as southwestern Germany. However, it has now spread throughout Central Europe. The snail originally lives in moist, sheltered locations in deciduous forests under fallen leaves and among rocks. In Central Europe, it is now found primarily in cultivated land, in gardens, parks, greenhouses, compost heaps, along roadsides, and at landfills for green waste. Draparnaud's glass snails are predators, primarily eating other, smaller snails, but also fresh and wilted plant parts. Its main prey is young specimens of the banded snail species (Cepaea) up to about 10 mm in size, and young slugs.

This summer I'm going to try luring the eastern shell-nesting mason bee (Osmia conjuncta) into my yard. The species occurs in Pennsylvania but is extremely rare, probably because its preferred shell, Anguispira kochi, is presumed to be locally extinct. But Ontario populations of the bee are thriving and seem completely happy to use shells of Cepaea (an invasive from Europe) so I thought I'd give them a try here. Kaya (lilac, right) Glitschkow and Iwan (green-yellow, left) Glitschkow. Iwan sometimes is additionally called "der Schneckliche" (still missing @tomatensson here, who coined this name).
