I'm needing a modern replacement for an Astec ATX202-3545 power supply. I'm trying to sus out a part with it's size, but I'm concerned about purchasing the incorrect PSU. I need it to fix my Gateway tower. :cowbox:

Does anyone have a recommendation of what I should get? I wish I could repair the current one (it emits a loud squeal when powered on and shuts off), but I don't have the skills to do so. :) 🔌

Last spin of the night.

I’ve always loved The Tubes. I first heard them as a kid on an episode of WKRP IN CINCINNATI, when Dr. Johnny Fever played “Talk To Ya Later”, THIS album’s opening track, and a great song.

Because of that, this was the first Tubes album I ever heard, and it’s still my favorite. Shortly after that, I discovered “White Punks On Dope”.
They were always a super fun band for me.

A few years ago, I was watching an MTV interview from 1986 with James Spader and Andrew McCarthy from the Pretty In Pink premiere, and the dude interviewing them was none other than Fee Waybill of The Tubes.

Neither of them telling Fee “Talk to you later” was a horrific missed opportunity.

I, like a lot of kids at the time, had Kurt Cobain to thank for introducing me to The Vaselines.

This is the only Vaselines I’ve ever owned. I bought the CD back in 1992, and instantly fell in love with it. Although I greatly appreciated Nirvana’s Unlpugged performance of “Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam”, along with the two other covers on Incesticide, I adored the shimmery jangly Vaselines versions more.

That CD got played over and over again my freshman year of high school, and I think it was one of the first handful of CDs I owned.
It was around that time that I started buying both cassette AND cd formats.

An under appreciated #90s album that I discovered sometime around ‘97, when a friend of mine gave me a mix cd with “The Dutchman” as the final track.
I very much appreciated the sleepy Beach Boys vibe, and was delighted by the album on whole.

The album died a horrible death in the U.S. due to lack of promotion and label support, but is now recognized for how stunning it is.

Truly masterful art-pop.
