- I mean, #SteamDeck showed that #LinuxGaming is mainstream and the only big hurdles today are #Developers & #Publishers *deliberately designing their software to not run in #Proton (#Wine + #DXVK) like #EpicGames, #Microsoft & #Adobe do!

on my way to get rid of US services i try to stop using iCloud for storing photos from my iPhone but it seems like nothing really works well.
proton drive took a week to upload the 120Gb of photos once, and now tells me every few days again that it’s „preparing to backup 19000 photos“, including long hangs at start, etc.
Nextcloud keeps just behaving strange.
it’s a long way to go.

Afaik that is the version which brings native #Wayland support? One translation layer less (#XWayland), better performance, I guess?
I never gamed, now pretty deep into #GTA5 and it runs extremely well, highest settings with absolutely no glitches, lag, crashes or anything else. On a Laptop!

Sinon, en installant #Wine et #Proton sur une distribution #Linux, on peut faire tourner n'importe quel logiciel Windows ou jeu vidéo, qui tournera parfois même plus vite que sur Windows. Et ça vous coûtera zéro + zéro + zéro = zéro euro. Et sans racheter un PC.
