"Poilievre said “there are vacancies in a lot of our prisons right now because the soft Liberal laws allow the most rampant offenders to go free.” Data obtained by The Canadian Press in 2024 showed the majority of provincial correctional facilities in Ontario were well over capacity in 2023. L’enquête n’a trouvé aucun élément “étayant les allégations d’exécution ou indiquant que les victimes étaient ligotées avant ou après les tirs”, rapporte Ha’Aretz. Mais Tsahal admet que l’enquête “a mis en évidence plusieurs fautes professionnelles, des désobéissances aux ordres, et un manquement à rendre totalement compte de l’incident”. L’officier qui était en charge de l’unité incriminée sera démis de ses fonctions, a précisé l’armée. Les victimes étaient huit membres du Croissant-Rouge, six membres de la Défense civile à Gaza et un membre de l’Unrwa, l’agence de l’ONU pour les réfugiés palestiniens. Le porte-parole du Croissant-Rouge à Ramallah a dénoncé un rapport “truffé d’erreurs” et “nul et non avenu”.

this is also an example of #capitalist market forces at play in private for profit #prisons (concentration camps or cheap labor pool for bigCorps).

Now #bigCorp will see the profit in having prisons in multiple jurisdictions. Everyone makes a profit, the bigCorp cutting the political players in and we now have #fascism on a global scale with #bigCorp running the world.

no courts, or oversight by anyone.
