Die Ausrüstung kann wegen fehlender Hygienemittel nicht gereinigt werden. Die E-Bikes, die sie gewohnt sind, dürfen sie nicht mehr nutzen. Stattdessen sollen sie ihre privaten Fahrräder nutzen. Die Verträge sind befristet. Gewerkschafter*innen wird der Zutritt in die Betriebe verweigert. Menschen, die gegen prekäre Bedingungen kämpfen, müssen befürchten, dass ihre Verträge nicht verlängert werden. Als wäre das alles nicht schlimm genug, arbeiten sie aktiv daran Betriebsratswahlen zu sabotieren. (...) @theregister I can't follow. The risks did not change that much with #Trump. 🤔

Dependency to the #cloud was a bad move in many cases already before. It wasn't about risks, it was about prioritizing money as long as #outsourcing was cheaper. Now, companies often aren't in a position to self-host any more because we've lost #knowhow or resources.

You can blame many things on Trump but not this.

Berkshire paid $26.8 billion in US Taxes in 2024. (~5% of total Corp taxes).

- We should tax corporate revenue and rebate US Wages. Highly profitable companies in the US are not paying taxes.

This will tax AI, Investments, Outsourcing, etc., more than labor.

We should incentivize payments to US labor and US wages over outsourcing, AI, and investment activity.

Nennt mir bitte ein Gegenbeispiel, wo wir unserer verlorene digitale Eigenständigkeit wesentlich(!) zurückerlangt haben. 🤔

Dabei wäre es soooo wichtig für sehr viele kommende Generationen. Wir verlieren schon seit zu vielen Jahren massiv #KnowHow durch #Outsourcing, #Cloud, usw..
