By exploring the process and potential of rammed earth as a spatial element and its relation to the human body we wanted to investigate how the action of care can be continuously applied in the context of the domestic interior. Emil DencherREVISIT ~ MAKER UN:MAKER The educational observatory in Remiseparken. A simple typology developed through a vernacular approach. The project have had a continuous point of departure in soil both at a material, social and environmental level. I've explored the human-soil relations through the act of building and soil as a mediator between nature-culture. The interior is closed of to create a space for immersion and learning whereas the exterior and the sorrounding environment create intimate exploration zones which are less programmatic and more likely to be inhabited and appropriated by its users. Emil DencherREVISIT ~ MAKER UN:MAKER Initial spatial fragments developed for the observatory in Remiseparken. The project was part of my Master's at The Royal Danish Academy. I developed a spatial program with a point of departure in soil as a catalyst for exploring and learning in and within nature.
