#Help dans #LibreCad #FreeCad j'ai besoin de faire une règle de mesure millimètre par millimètre d'un longueur de 11 cm
(voir pour exemple d'inspiration : Fig 10 p. 12 nist.gov/system/files/document)

Comme je dois dupliquer puis intégrer cette règle 2 fois et sur un second schèma 4 fois, j'ai vraiment pas envie de faire chaque trait à la main dans le dessin vectoriel.

Je veux juste pourvoir modifier la largeur du trait des millimeters, du 5 mm et du cm.

Vous pouvez m'aider à éviter un fastuidieux travail de plusieurs heures ?

@arturo182 @kicad That's nice but why didn't they chose CC-BY if they don't want to have share-alike provisions?

  • Maybe they just don't want others to paywall their files?

Either way it's a good thing:

  • OFC they don't do it out of the goodness of their hearts but because it'll result in #tinkerers using #KiCad, #LibreCad, etc. to use and buy said parts as they can and most likely will be shipped with aid programs.

Same applies even more for #PCB #assembly services:

  • They gonna buy said parts on reels if not multiples simply because customer demand will appear...

And that's how #OpenAccess and #PermissiveLicensing are even beneficial in #commercial settings!

@AasaMariaHedberg Kanske titta på #LibreCAD eller #FreeCAD, då kan du åtminstone anlita nån att ta betalt för sin tid att skapa dina verktyg och tillbehör. De kapitalistiska efterfrågans-/utbudsbaserade attributen lär vara i topp på de app-plattformar som tar en så sjukt hög ockeravgift som inte är i relation till arbetsinsatsen. Då får du barnarbete och sjukt låga löner på köpet även om försäljningspriset inte avslöjar det.

The plan is for two of these to come off the lathe this weekend. Not sure if I should do four (two for each mount) before I've validated that this design works at all. All I know is that everything looks reassuringly serious with dimension lines and shit.

A diagram of a component to be made in a lathe. It starts with a 16mm piece of bar stock (a rod). At the start, is a 20mm section of M10 thread. This goes to an 10mm diameter unthreaded section for 15mm (where a UHMW bush will go), which then flares out to the 16mm diameter for another 5.2 mm. There is then a 2.8mm wide 12mm diameter section for a washer to slip over (this will stop the suspension bush from sliding off), then back to an M10 thread for another 20mm.

"Somewhat" equivalent to DraftSight? Sorry but no, I hope that Librecad_3 will improve the situation, but at the actual state is very in early stage.
DraftSight is like AutoCAD, in some user case better, librecad is light-years distant.
Obviously except the licence, but also in this case I prefer Librecad_3 that is GPLv3+.
