Today I did my best #geoguessr round ever. Saw an arid place, clearly Italy, no indications whatsoever, guessed the strange mountain at NE to be Etna and plonked in the middle of nowhere for 1.9km, 4994 points. I did many 5K, but none were such wild guesses.

I don't know how I can convey how much I enjoy #geotastic (#geoguessr like).

I've acquired all sorts of very niche knowledge about #Japan urbanism that I can now pinpoint fairly accurately in "no move" mode.

It really feels like a superpower, it's so much fun.

Geoguessr on kyllä jännää puuhaa. En minä ole tuota kuin kolmisen viikkoa pelannut, mutta jo nyt on muodostunut tiettyjä intuitioita, joiden pohjalta on jo muutamassa sekunnissa sijoittamassa näkymää Islantiin, Aucklandiin tai Taipeihin.

Tuohon liittyy aivan valtava määrä knoppitietoa sekä paikoista että siitä miten kuvamateriaalia on kerätty, mutta toistaiseksi ihan yleistiedolla on pärjännyt mukavasti.
