Eventually I realized that no, that's Adfly I was thinking of. The story is that Bitly has degraded into Adfly.</p><p>If the actual implementation turns out to be accurate to what you read out on the show, it will be trivially easy for a browser extension to automatically and instantly skip you straight to the destination URL.
