Alright, opening up theme suggestions for the #bevy #gamejam. One suggestion per person, no explanatory notes!

**Jam timeline:**

- May 9th: theme suggestion opens
- May 19th: theme voting opens, theme suggestions close
- May 31st: theme selected and jam starts
- June 8th: jam concludes!

#bevy is steadily maturing, but even as we add features, users are struggling to piece together how to do common #gamedev tasks in a new engine, and an ECS paradigm.

I'd like to fix that, so I wrote up a proposal for a new class of usage examples! https://github.com/bevyengine/bevy-website/pull/2131

i'm going to build #bevy from source on a raspberry pi 3 running FreeBSD-13.5-RELEASE for the hell of it. Any bets on how long it will take? For reference, ripgrep took almost 9 minutes to build.

I've updated my old card game prototype to 0.16. TBH I am nostalgic about this project, since first iteration was done years ago with ggez. It is nice to come back to it from time to time and clean it up and improve a bit, even if it doesn't end as anything finished ;)
