Just… Josh :BlobCatTrashed:<p>Based on my needs, I reinstalled <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/zimaos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ZimaOS</span></a> back on the diy <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/nas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NAS</span></a>.<br><br>After trying to configure things myself with various OS and programs, I kept running into snag after snag.<br><br>All I want is a raid set up for media streaming/storage and a “drag and drop” web based file manager for the family to use.<br><br>Even in the beta stage, Zima has done better than what I can concoct.<br><br>With Zima I can natively install <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/jellyfin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jellyfin</span></a> and <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/filebrowser" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FileBrowser</span></a> (<a href="https://filebrowser.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://filebrowser.org/</a>)</p>
Just… Josh :BlobCatTrashed:<p>Well it appears that <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/zimaos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ZimaOS</span></a> does not like colons in file names 🫠<br><br>Also, it tends to do better with folder transfers than individual files based on my preliminary testing 🤷🤷‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️</p>
