Developer @helpcomputer0 has just released a new Space Invaders-style shmup game Frontier Force for the Sega Master System.
Around a week ago, we reported on the preview video for the shoot'em up "Wings of Fear". Now the developer has released a demo version of his game, which is still in the alpha phase and is being created using the Scorpion Engine. He wants to use it to gather constructive feedback and suggestions on how he can improve his game.

Around a year ago, 'pixelplop' published the first preview video of its shoot'em up "Echo Fighter". The fourth preview video now shows improvements such as health bars and additional collision detection.

I'm trying to find a game I used to play on arcades in the 80's. Can't remember its name or editor, so I am left with just a description.
I think I came across it on #mame a few years ago, but lost track of it.
It's a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up, where the player impersonates a chopper.
The chopper firing range varies depending on the movement... i.e. if you move forward on the screen, the chopper tilts forward and it's able to shoot targets on the ground, while when steady it shoots only flying enemies. When leaning left and right the chopper not only slides, but turns a little bit, so that the shoots are angled.
Targets you can find: choppers, planes, ground vehicles and buildings, and also cows and soldiers.
FromLefcourt have announced Gunlocked 2, a bullet heaven survivor-like shoot 'em up that takes all the goodies from the first game and greatly expands on it.

Para o #SegundaFicha cujo tema é "Jogos de Nave", trago "R-Type III: The Third Lightning" (SNES, 1993/1994). É meu jogo favorito da franquia: 2D, com visão lateral, gráficos, trilha sonora e uma jogabilidade dignos de nota. No início do jogo, você pode escolher 3 dispositivos diferentes. Trata-se de um "módulo" que você manipula durante o jogo, deixando-o na frente ou atrás da nave e pode deixá-lo acoplado nela ou separado. Meu favorito era a "bolinha", o mais apelão de todos. E, quando você acha que o jogo não pode mais te surpreender, após enfrentar um "boss", a navega "engata marcha à ré" (!), aos 52 min e 47s:
