I'm late to this train ride.
I was holding out on game consoles for the Switch 2, thinking it would meet my needs for recent 2D platforming games. But the introduction has been rather, well, underwhelming. I might one day get an original Switch and call it good.
So I'm looking at a Sony PS5. It has a lot of classic games (my vibe) before fighting games and photorealistic driving games were a "thing". Give me an 80s or early 90s game, and I'm in bliss.
The questions is: can I get by with the digital version, or do I really need a disk drive for the classics? I think many of the games could be available on PS Plus, but am not sure.
Thanks all!
