Molecular de-extinction uses to revive peptides from extinct organisms.

A study analyzed 10 million peptides, identifying 37,000 with potential antimicrobial activity. 69 were synthesized and tested, confirming efficacy against bacterial pathogens. This technique could accelerate discovery of new therapeutic molecules against antibiotic resistance.
