Nielso<p>I'd really like to know what is the exact difference between current <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/AllenHeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AllenHeath</span></a> preamps and AD converts such as those in the <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/AllenHeathCQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AllenHeathCQ</span></a> or <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/AllenHeathSQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AllenHeathSQ</span></a> series… and standard <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/RME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RME</span></a> gear such as the old and new <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/Fireface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fireface</span></a> series. </p><p>Why? Because the CQ12t is a lot more convenient to use for me than my old Fireface 400. Yet the Fireface's two mic inputs seem to be the best preamps I own.</p><p><a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/Recording" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Recording</span></a></p>
